Matt gave his inaugural professorial lecture at the RMIT Design Hub on 3rd February. The lecture, entitled “Cooking with geodata: Recipes for maps and apps”, included introductions to two of the main RISER subprojects: the RISERnet deployment for real-time environmental monitoring of the forest environment; and the automated firefront tracking using the IMS (incident management system) RSS feed.
