Timed to coincide with the AAG Special Session, Matt and Allison are co-editors of a special issue of the international journal Computers, Environment, and Urban Systems (CEUS) on “Advances in Geospatial Emergency Management”. The special issue will address the state-of-the-art in using spatial information and geographic information systems (GIS) for emergency management issues, including disaster preparedness, assessing infrastructure vulnerability, evacuation and sheltering.
